Karen’s House works with CVRC (Central Valley Regional Center) to provide 24 hour non-medical care and supervision for adults 18-59.
Central Valley Training Center
Karen’s House works with Central Valley Training Center to assist our consumer with touring and choosing the Day Program. Followed by behavior modification discussions to remain aware of patterns and learning techniques as biofeedback and positive and negative reinforcement.
Community Integrated Work Program, Inc.
Karen’s House works with Community Integrated Work Program, Inc. in selecting the appropriate Day Program for the consumer. Once CIWP has been selected we work together to make sure the most effective learning takes place in a natural setting to produce principles of community integration to achieve a productive lifestyle for our consumer.
Vocation Plus Connection, Inc.
Karen’s House works with Vocation Plus Connections, Inc. in selecting the appropriate Day Program for the consumer. Karen’s House then works with VPCI to organize efforts to fulfill our individual consumers fullest potential.
T & K Innovators
Karen’s House works directly with T&K Innovators with training and leadership development. Together we analyze trends and patterns of behaviors and problems with our consumers as well as any organizational training needs for Karen’s House.
West Fresno Resource Center
The staff of Karen's House has volunteered at the West Fresno Resource Center assisting with food distribution, stuffing backpacks for school aged children, and providing other services for the residents of West Fresno.
Fresno Economic Development Corporation (EDC)
Karen's House partners with the EDC by participating in the New Employment Opportunities (NEO) Program to provide employment opportunities and training to eligible CalWORKS job seekers.
Fresno Unified School District
Adult Transition Program (ATP)
Karen’s House works with Fresno Unified special education programs in obtaining or providing training, support and education programs specifically for the consumers in Karen’s House. Karen’s House addresses any tantrums, defiance, and emotional disconnect that may cause classroom disturbances.
The ARC
Karen's House collaborates with the ARC of Fresno/Madera Counties for recreational and socialization activities.
