Karen’s House L.L.C. is dedicated to providing quality support to women ages 18-59 with Intellectual Disabilities to become active members in their communities, build and maintain meaningful relationships with family and friends, and succeed with their individual, educational, professional and personal goals.
Community Outreach Opportunities
Community Food Distributions, Neighborhood Street Clean Up, and Merchandising at various retail outlets, and volunteer events with 509 Pets.
Peer Relationships
Peer relationships are one of the main socialization settings for Karen's House consumers.
Socialization
Encouraging empathy and compassion towards each other, and engaging in daily positive social experiences helps to builds and maintain strong and positive bonds amongst our consumers.
